THIS DRESS! Can we all talk about this dress? I can’t get over how comfortable and flattering this dress is. I was a little nervous it was going to be a little too short for my taste, but it is absolutely perfect! And it fits true to size. It is such a flattering dress and I know it would look good on all figures. It is perfect for summer. I just wish I had it in advance for July 4th! It would have been perfect.
This darling striped dress is from The Mint Julep Boutique. I have shopped here before and I am happy to say I had to go back! I love how they have pieces that are very in, affordable and items for everyone! You can also receive $10 off your first order when you sign up for emails! Who doesn’t want a good deal like that?
As you can maybe tell in this post as well I recently had my eyebrows microbladed. I wanted to talk about it a little bit! I had it done once before about a year ago. So hopefully I can give you a little insight as to what it entails as a second timer.
So the first time I got microblading done it didn’t really seem to hurt and I was happy to fill in my eyebrows since they were so sparse. The second time around it did hurt the first minute on each eyebrow since she had to open up the skin to put more numbing on. Once it soaked in I didn’t feel a thing!
When you get your eyebrows microbladed they usually shape them before they start the procedure. Whitney had my lay back and she outlined my eyebrows and give them shape. Then she sat me up and we talked about where I wanted things changed and added some thickness to my brows. She was super flexible and I loved that I could totally trust her and she understood what I wanted.
The whole process takes a couple hours from start to finish. After she was finished she had me sit up and take a look to make sure I was happy with the finished product. We ended up adding a few strokes to a couple places and I am so happy with the results! She is a brow queen and I can’t believe these are my brows!
The worst part about getting microblading is the fact that you can’t get them wet for 10 days. It is trickier than you think! Showers become a little more difficult, and they also scab over. So if they start to look a little crusty and flake for 10 days, don’t worry! That is completely normal.
I have super oily skin, so the first time I had microblading done about a year ago it has seemed to fade a ton, even after my touch up appointment. So far I have been obsessed with my results. I can’t wait to see how they heal!
If you have any questions about my experience leave a comment or shoot me an email! or don’t hesitate to ask Whitney with any questions about microblading!
xo,
Sara

Your brows look great! I got mine microbladed earlier this year and it was the best decision! I also hated not being able to get them wet but glad I didn't so they healed well.
isn't it really the best!! Thanks so much! Yes the no water has been tricky, but so worth it!
