A Pretty Penny

Back in September Colin and I started to play around with the idea of buying a house. We didn’t want to be throwing away our money renting and we were going to be in the Salt Lake area for awhile, so why not?

It all happened pretty fast. We got serious about it by the end of September and decided we wanted to build a townhouse with Edge. Everything happened and was finalized with in about 2 weeks. We put our first payment down on October 10, 2015 and couldn’t believe we were going to be home owners. 6 months went by so fast and it was so fun to see everything we picked come to life!

We are not living in Herriman and loving every second of it.  We still don’t have a couch or much furniture, but Rome wasn’t built in a day. I am very picky and don’t want to have to redo or repurchase things if I’m not happy with it. Thank goodness for Pinterest and time.

Here is the progression of our house being built! I will post more house updates as we get furniture!
