I am beyond excited to finally reveal baby girl’s nursery! It has been so fun creating this little space for this little girl. I have always dreamed about putting together a nursery and what it would be like when we did, but it turned out even better than I imagined.
When we found out we were having a girl I instantly started planning the nursery. I knew I wanted it to look like a little girls nursery, but I didn’t want it to be overly pink or covered in flowers. I also knew I wanted an accent wall. Once I laid my eyes on this gorgeous “Sandie Mural” wallpaper from Anewall (c/o), I instantly knew this had to go in baby girl’s nursery. It provides the perfect subtle pinks and yellows that inspired every other aspect of her nursery.
FURNITURE
DECOR
Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree – World Market (I found it on Facebook Marketplace)
Faux Gold Potted Plant – Target
BABY ACCESSORIES
As you may have noticed we updated the shelves in the nursery after we photographed the “nursery reveal”, so I took a few updated photos that included the cute wooden camera and book on the shelf. It is my favorite little corner, and where I’m going to be spending a lot of my time I’m sure.
CLOSET
Rose Gold Basket – gift
Shoes – Freshly Picked (c/o) & Deer Grace Co. (c/o)
We also wanted a little more storage space in baby girl’s closet, since all she had was one shelf and space for hangers. While we were planning out the nursery I pinned tons of inspiration images for adding storage. I loved the idea of turning these Kallax shelves into extra storage in her closet. It was such an easy DIY as well!
We found some shelves on Facebook Marketplace (I am obsessed with finding great deals on there), purchased the drawer inserts along with the square baskets for storage, new knobs, and voilà! We are have cute extra storage for baby girl. I put bows, pacifiers, teethers and her pants in the drawers. It is perfect for what we need and I love that we can adjust it as needed!
Since we took pictures we have definitely added clothes to the closet as well as these darling baby closet dividers and they come in handy! I love having every separated by month so I don’t forget to put her in an outfit before she grows out of it.
xo,
Sara
