as soon as i heard her story the clogs in my brain started moving. i loved the idea so i was determined to get a book and start my own Happiness Challenge. i carry it with me everywhere i go and i always make sure to write down every little thing that make me smile. it has made me become obsessed with finding my happiness and sharing it with others. i am constantly writing down my little trinkets of happiness to save for a rainy day. i have found that i have been much happier and i look forward to finding out what happiness will be each day. its always a new surprise!
{i felt like this related. enjoy}:
“In the classic children story (willy wonka and the chocolate factory) people all over the world desperately yearn to find a golden ticket. some feel that their entire future happiness depends on whether or not a golden ticket falls into their hands. in their anxiousness, people begin to forget the simple joy they used to find in a candy bar. the candy bar itself becomes an utter disappointment if it does not contain a golden ticket. so many people today are waiting for their own golden ticket. the ticket that they believe holds the key to happiness they have always dreamed about.
never stop hoping for all of the righteous desires of your heart, but don’t close your eyes and hearts to the simple and elegant beauties of each days ordinary moments that make up a rich, well-lived life.
the happiest people i know are not those who find their golden ticket; they are those who, while in pursuit of worthy goals, discover and treasure the beauty and sweetness of the everyday moments.”
-Dieter F. Uchtdorf
so your challenge, if you wish to accept it. is to find your golden ticket! find your happiness and right them down! right them on scratch paper, write them in chalk, right them in your math folder. as long as you write down your happiness. otherwise you’ll never remember. so…on your
mark, get set, GO!
i created this blog with the mindset that i could share my happiness with others. and so that others can find their own happiness. i want to share this with as many people as possible. so if you like happiness i hope you can follow me in my endeavor for happiness…if tends to be contagious.
but to begin, we need to start at the beginning. a girl once told me about the Happiness Challenge. the Happiness Challenge consists of writing down everything that would make you smile in a day. she talked about how it changed her life, and how happiness could be simple things that she never gave a second thought about. the Happiness Challenge got me thinking about what i considered to be happiness. and that is when this little happy blog began.
